THE HUGUENOT SOCIETY OF VIRGINIA is a charitable, educational, and religious organization. The membership consists of descendants of those persons who were active in forming the Reformed Church in Europe. We wish to keep alive the memory of the courageous acts of these people and perpetuate their religious principles, such as the individual freedom of religious beliefs.
If interested in searching for an eligible ancestor to apply for membership, contact the society in the manner suggested on this website. One does not have to reside in Virginia.
This website will be updated continuously.so visit frequently.
Membership meetings are held on the last Saturday in March and October, in Richmond and other locations in
Virginia. A guest speaker at lunch further enlightens us on those historic times, and the current day results,
including the development of democracies and capitalism in the world.
The expanded web site will soon be here.
